The Shaker table design to the right was introduced to me by master craftsman Garret Hack. I love the simplicity and pure lines of the table. I`ve built a variety of them in different sizes and wood finishes. They all include inlays and cuffs. I've included some photos of the construction process.
Also included, a variety of other tables.
The selection here is predominantly built with man made and commercial veneer for the exception of the small shaker style made with solid wood.
A collection of cases in the shape of cabinets, big and small, freestanding units, dressers, and built ins.
Shelving is a common component in the pieces that I make. I`ve created free standing units, wall hung units (using French cleats), integrated into larger pieces and sometimes as wall display.
I like to incorporate a glass component into the design of most doors. I have built dozens, mainly interior doors with pine, cherry, white oak, sapele mahogany, maple and poplar. Exterior wooden doors remain a challenge that Iām still experimenting with. The sun pounds on them attacking the finish. They require consistent maintenance but they look so darn good !
