Process

(1) I start by designing and testing the profile, then mill quality straight stock. (2) Next I cut to exact length the frame parts (I use the Micra Miter 5000 sled, wonderful tool).  (3) Dry fit and tune up the angles with a shooting board. (4) Assemble and glue up the frame (I use LeeValley 4-way speed clamp and Gorilla glue). (5) I add corner keys for strength on most frames and generally finish with shellac and wax.
