Hi, my name is Réal Fortin.

I spent 35 years in the advertising industry and was fortunate enough to retire at an early age which has allowed me to pursue my passion full time.

My father was a man who could make and repair anything he looked at. I think that is where I inherited my love for making things with my hands. Using my creative abilities to create objects from raw materials is a love affair that I want to share with you.

This site is a collection of the work I’ve created since my retirement. It gives a good overview of what I like to design and the different disciplines I explore. I’m as thrilled with the journey as the result, therefor I’ve included many progress photos for the projects I’ve created. I always appreciate it when other craftsman share their working method.

I accept commissions regularly. If you are interested the process is simple,
